Wiring Diagrams

In this illustration, 10a and b indicate the positions of the ship from which the torpedo is fired. 17a denotes the enemy ship at its initial position. 17c its anticipated position when the torpedo hits it, and 17b its actual position following an evasive maneuver. 12 designates the torpedo's original path, which is initially corrected at position 11 and repeatedly readjusted up to position 16. Number 18 indicates an aircraft from which position information is transmitted to ship 10 (with the necessary equipment on board the plane, it could also steer the torpedo). The downward-pointing arrows (19) symbolize the sea currents.
